Androids in this universe are more like BJDs than mass produced products. They're released in small batches by indie teams, usually consisting of an artist/sculptor, programmer/engineer, and manufacturer. Because of this, there isn't really that much issue with androids finding copies of themselves out in the world, but it does occasionally happen (and eventually becomes a huge part of Isamu and Usagi's story).
The batch of androids that Isamu is from is a series of 10 (of which Isamu was #8) of male sex androids vaguely themed after flowers and historical Japan, in an extremely exploitative, misrepresented way the same way there's a western idea that geisha are prostitutes despite this being as far away from the truth as could be.
Usagi eventually finds the original website listing with all the models from the batch including Isamu now sold out. The models are as follows:
Isamu finds Kei completely by accident while looking through nsfw videos and stumbling on one made by someone who looked….exactly like himself. He could only see their nose and below, but he recognized it instantly, and showing Usagi, they agreed. He eventually works up the courage to message this video creator saying basically “idk how to say this but I think we're the same model” and gets a very excited response back like “hiiiiiii omg really? can I see pics if you don't mind???? do you wanna meet up ^^” and Isamu’s very overwhelmed. Usagi thinks it'd be a good idea to meet new people though and they take a train to the guy's current residence outside Tokyo
Far down a secluded, dirty street, through a series of rusted metal grates and never-drying puddles, there is a temple built into decaying concrete and rebar; the soft pitter-patter of holographic rain falls onto vibrant blue hydrangeas, growing in the patches between meters and meters of cables. In the center of it all sits a person, or an android? No matter, hooked up to countless monitors and modems, long hair falling over their face and down over the stone platform they sit on, monklike, eyes closed and waiting. Ask away, for the Sage knows all.
Ajisai was #2 of Isamu's batch of androids. Originally sold to a wealthy man as a sexbot, he quickly grew tired of them and found more use in them as a home assistant robot. Permanently hooked up to the house's main hub and internet, immobile, Ajisai passed the time by endlessly browsing all the websites they could; expanding the reach of their connection, using it to spy on the neighbor's CCTV, for example, and soon established an immense repository of information in their storage banks with absolutely zero use for any of it (their job, after all, was to do things like unlock doors and set reminders).
Eventually because of how long they were sitting in one place, they start to deteriorate and their owner sells them to a pawn shop. Said pawn shop foolishly doesn't have a secure network and so Ajisai unlocks all the doors and just…disappears into the city. After a couple years a strange figure starts appearing in the dark corners of the internet calling themselves the Sage, with a small cult following of people asking them advice and questions on every topic one could think of. Notably though, the Sage never answers to anything harmful or abhorrent, and the asker usually disappears. This message board is what Usagi uses to track down the Sage's position and ask them if they know more about Isamu's past—which ends up with the both of them discovering the Sage is part of Isamu's past.
I'd also like to clarify that Ajisai didn't start the whole sage business for fame or anything like that, they just answered in a lot of message boards about really obscure topics and slowly developed a following organically as a kind of know it all “human search engine” type character.

As far as anyone knows, Asagao is the only one of Isamu's series left that isn't confirmed dead but hasn't turned up alive anywhere either
